Argzz.com (hereinafter “Argzz”) has updated this Privacy Policy. This update includes a number of adjustments that better protect your personal information. We clarify the types, methods, rules, and purposes of personal information collection, use, and sharing for our products and services. We also enhance notifications and real-time prompts to provide users with explicit choices when personal information is collected, used, or shared, and we clarify how users can access, correct, and delete their personal information.

We will explain in detail what personal information we collect, how we collect it, and why we collect it. We will collect your personal information only after obtaining your consent. If you refuse to provide such information, you may be unable to use certain related features, but it will not affect your ability to use other functions of Sudoku Master.


I. Information Collected by Argzz

We collect and use personal information that you proactively provide or that is generated due to product or service needs, in accordance with laws and regulations and the principles of legitimacy, fairness, and necessity. The main sources of information collected by Argzz include: information you provide to us; information we obtain when you use our products and services; and information shared by third parties. The types of information we collect mainly include the following:

1. Personal Information

“Personal information” refers to all kinds of information recorded electronically or otherwise that can identify a natural person, either on its own or in combination with other information.

When you register an account or use Argzz’s products and services, with your consent and confirmation we may collect personal information you provide, such as your name, gender, phone number, etc. We collect this information to protect your account security and help you recover your account. If you do not provide this information, you may not be able to use some of our services properly.

2. Camera Permission

To take photos to recognize Sudoku puzzles and to recognize Sudoku images in your photo album, we will access photos stored on your mobile device. Therefore, we need permission to “read and write photos and files on the device” and camera permission. You also need this permission to photograph a Sudoku puzzle within the app for recognition and input. The above information is sensitive information. Refusing to provide it will not affect your normal use of other features of Sudoku Master.

3. Log Information

When you use Argzz products and services, the system may automatically collect certain information through cookies or other methods and store it in server logs. Such information may include:

  1. Detailed usage of Argzz products and services, such as the page address you visited and details of other information and content you browse or request while using Argzz services;
  2. Device or software information, such as configuration information provided by your mobile device, web browser, or other programs used to access Argzz products or services, the versions used by your mobile device, and device identifiers;
  3. Device event information, such as crashes and system activity;
  4. IP address;
  5. Information about mobile apps (APPs) and related software you have used, as well as information about your use of such apps and software.

4. Device Information

“Device information” refers to information about the device you use when accessing Argzz’s products or services. This may include: device MAC address, unique device identifiers, login IP address, device model, device name, device identifiers, browser type and settings, language settings, operating system and application versions, network access methods, network quality data, mobile network information (including carrier name), product version number, and device location-related information (including geolocation information that you authorize us to obtain). To collect the above basic device information, we will request permission to access your device information and obtain such information based on your authorization. This information helps us provide you with better products and services.

To identify your device ID and prevent malicious programs and cheating, and to improve service security, operational quality, and efficiency, we may collect your device information (including IMEI, MEID, Android ID, IMSI, GUID, MAC address), information about apps you have installed, or information about running processes.

We need to collect certain information to ensure account and system security when you use our products or services, and to help improve the safety and reliability of our products and services, preventing any conduct that may harm users or society. This includes your personal information such as: login location, commonly used device information (e.g., hardware model, device MAC address, IMEI, IMSI, Android ID), login IP address, product version number, language mode, browsing history, network usage habits, service fault information, and sensitive personal information: member real-name authentication information. We use such information for account risk assessment, identity verification, customer service, detection and prevention of security incidents, fraud monitoring, archiving and backup, and we will lawfully take necessary logging, auditing, analysis, and response measures. If we detect or suspect account security risks, we may use the relevant information for security verification and risk mitigation to ensure the safety of the products and services provided to you and protect your rights. When account or system security issues occur, we may also collect this information to optimize our products and services.

“MAC address” refers to the MAC address information in Android devices we collect when you use our products, mainly for locating abnormal network requests and ensuring network service stability and security.

5. Third-Party Information

We work with third-party service providers and integrate third-party services into our products. We do not share the personal information you provide to us or that we collect with third-party services, nor do we collect personal information on behalf of third-party service providers. Third-party service providers integrated through our product may have their own privacy policies, which are not governed by this Privacy Policy. Third-party service providers may collect personal information necessary to provide services to you according to their own privacy policies. We will make commercially reasonable efforts to require third-party service providers to comply with applicable laws and regulations when processing your personal information and to adopt confidentiality and security measures. However, we cannot guarantee that they will always comply with our requirements.

II. Purposes and Rules for Using Information

(1) Purposes of Use

Argzz may use the information collected for the following purposes:

  1. When providing Argzz products and services, for identity verification, customer service, security protection, archiving and backup, to ensure the safety of the products and services provided to you.

    To protect your account security and system operational security, and to meet requirements of laws, regulations, and agreements between you and us, with your authorization we may obtain your device information during your use of our products or services, including: hardware serial number, device model, OS version, app version, device settings, device MAC address, software list, unique device identifiers (including Android ID/IDFA/OPENUDID/GUID, BSSID, SSID, package name/Bundle ID, task list, SIM card information, device name), LAN parameters, IP, carrier information, markers (jailbreak/root, proxy, emulator, code tampering), device serial number (UUID), resolution, and screen type.

  2. To ensure the normal implementation of the functions of the products or services provided to you.
  3. To improve existing Argzz products and services and enhance user experience.
  4. To help Argzz design new products and services. Argzz may compile statistics on the usage of various features of products and services, and analyze statistical data to improve quality and introduce innovative products and services helpful to users.
  5. Software authentication or management of software upgrades.
  6. To collect and use your information without authorization as required by laws and regulations in the following situations:
    1. Related to national security or national defense security;
    2. Related to public security, public health, or major public interests;
    3. Related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, and enforcement of judgments;
    4. For protecting major lawful rights and interests of you or other individuals’ life or property where it is difficult to obtain consent;
    5. Necessary to maintain safe and stable operation of the products or services provided, such as discovering and handling product or service faults;
    6. Necessary for lawful news reporting;
    7. Necessary for statistics or academic research conducted by academic research institutions for the public interest, and where results are provided externally with personal information de-identified;
    8. Other situations stipulated by laws and regulations.
  7. Other purposes with your consent.

To provide you with a better experience, improve Argzz’s products and services, or for other purposes you have agreed to, under the premise of compliance with relevant laws and regulations, Argzz may aggregate information collected through a certain product or service for use in other Argzz products and services.

(2) Rules for Using Your Personal Information

  1. Argzz will use the collected information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and for realizing product or service functions.
  2. After collecting your personal information, Argzz will de-identify the data through technical means. De-identified information cannot identify the subject. You understand and agree that in such circumstances Argzz has the right to use de-identified information, and, without disclosing your personal information, has the right to analyze user databases and commercialize such analysis.
  3. Please note that all personal information you provide while using Argzz products or services will continue to be authorized for use by Argzz during your use of such products or services unless you delete it or refuse collection through system settings. When you cancel your account, Argzz will stop using and delete your personal information.
  4. Argzz may compile statistics on the usage of products or services and may share such statistics with the public or third parties to show overall usage trends. Such statistics do not contain any identity information.
  5. When Argzz displays your personal information, Argzz will use methods such as content replacement and anonymization to desensitize your information to protect information security.
  6. If Argzz needs to use your personal information for purposes not specified in this Policy, or use information collected for a specific purpose for another purpose, we will seek your consent in advance by having you actively check a box.

III. Sharing, Transfer, and Disclosure of Information

(1) Sharing of Information

  1. Argzz will not share your personal information with any company, organization, or individual outside Argzz, except in the following cases:
    1. With your prior explicit consent or authorization;
    2. When required by applicable laws and regulations, legal procedures, or mandatory administrative or judicial requirements;
    3. When necessary within the scope permitted by laws and regulations to protect the interests, property, or safety of Argzz, partners, you, other Argzz users, or the public from harm;
    4. When sharing your information is necessary to realize the core functions of Argzz’s products or services or to provide services you need;
    5. At your request to handle disputes or controversies between you and others;
    6. When provided in accordance with relevant agreements signed with you (including electronically signed online agreements and corresponding platform rules) or other legal documents;
    7. For academic research;
    8. For social public interests in compliance with laws and regulations.
  2. Argzz may share your personal information with Argzz affiliates. Argzz will only share necessary personal information and such sharing is subject to this Privacy Policy. If an affiliate changes the purpose of processing personal information, your authorization and consent will be obtained again.
  3. Argzz may share your information with partners and other third parties to ensure the completion of services provided to you. Argzz will only share personal information for lawful, proper, necessary, specific, and explicit purposes, and only share the personal information necessary for providing services. Partners have no right to use shared personal information for any other purpose.
  4. For companies, organizations, and individuals with whom Argzz shares personal information, Argzz will require them to comply with confidentiality agreements and to process personal information in accordance with Argzz’s instructions, this Privacy Policy, and any other relevant confidentiality and security measures.
  5. To comply with the law, enforce or apply Argzz’s terms of use and other agreements, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Argzz, you, or other Argzz customers (e.g., to prevent fraud and reduce credit risk), Argzz may exchange information with other companies and organizations. This does not include disclosure of personal information in violation of this Privacy Policy for profit purposes by selling, renting, sharing, or otherwise disclosing.

(2) Transfer of Information

Argzz will not transfer your personal information to any company, organization, or individual, except in the following cases:

  1. With your prior explicit consent or authorization;
  2. When required by applicable laws and regulations, legal procedures, or mandatory administrative or judicial requirements;
  3. When provided in accordance with relevant agreements signed with you (including electronically signed online agreements and corresponding platform rules) or other legal documents;
  4. In the event of a merger, acquisition, asset transfer, or similar transaction involving transfer of personal information, Argzz will require the new entity holding your personal information to continue to be bound by this Privacy Policy; otherwise, Argzz will require that entity to seek your authorization and consent again.

(3) Disclosure of Information

Argzz will publicly disclose your personal information only in the following circumstances, and only with industry-standard security measures:

  1. With your consent or authorization;
  2. When you use sharing functions;
  3. When required by laws or regulations, mandatory administrative law enforcement, or judicial requirements. Argzz may disclose personal information according to the required information type and disclosure method. Where permitted, Argzz will require corresponding legal documents and will carefully review requests to ensure they have a lawful basis, limited to data lawfully accessible by enforcement authorities for specific investigative purposes.
  4. In emergencies, to protect your lawful rights and interests, the lawful rights and interests of Argzz and other users, or public safety and public interests;
  5. As provided in user agreements or other similar agreements for Argzz’s products and services.

IV. Information Security Protection by Argzz

  1. Argzz retains your personal information only for the period necessary for the purposes described in this Policy and within the time limits required by laws and regulations.
  2. Data security technical measures: Argzz adopts industry-standard security measures, including reasonable institutional norms and security technologies, to prevent unauthorized access, use, or modification of your personal information and to avoid data damage or loss.
  3. Argzz allows only employees and partners who need to know such information to access personal information, and sets strict access control and monitoring mechanisms.
  4. Argzz takes all reasonably practicable measures to ensure that irrelevant personal information is not collected.
  5. Content and information you provide, upload, or publish while using Argzz products and services (e.g., photos related to your personal activities) may disclose your personal information. You should carefully consider whether to disclose such personal information.
  6. The internet is not absolutely secure. Email, instant messaging, and social software communications may not be fully encrypted. Argzz recommends using complex passwords and paying attention to protecting your personal information when using such tools.

V. Managing Your Personal Information

  1. You have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal information. However, deleting or modifying certain information may affect your use of related products or services or cause certain functions to be unavailable.
  2. You have the right to change the scope of your authorization or withdraw your authorization. You can change the scope by deleting information, disabling device features, or adjusting privacy settings on the website or in the app; or withdraw authorization by cancelling your account.
  3. You may also apply to cancel your product account directly, subject to the conditions agreed for the product. After you cancel your account, Argzz will stop providing products or services and, upon your request and unless otherwise required by laws and regulations, delete your personal information.

Account Cancellation Process

  1. If you need to cancel your account, you must meet the following conditions:
    1. Before cancellation, please confirm that your account is not within an active membership period. If you have opened a membership, after account cancellation, the membership status will be automatically forfeited and cannot be restored.
  2. Consequences of account cancellation:
    1. You will not be able to perform any permission-based operations relying on this account;
    2. Your original account will be reclaimed; you will not be able to log in again with that account and must re-register;
    3. You will not be able to retrieve all data stored under this account, except information or data we are required to retain by applicable laws.

After the user submits an “Account Cancellation” request in the Sudoku Master app via “Me” → “Account & Security” → “Cancel Account”, the account will be cancelled in real time, and a pop-up will indicate that cancellation has been completed.

  1. Argzz will adopt appropriate technical measures to ensure you can query, supplement, correct, or delete your personal profile. You may also request Argzz to supplement, correct, or delete information through feedback or complaint channels provided by Argzz products or services. Argzz will process your request according to internal procedures after receiving it.
  2. If you cannot access, correct, or delete your personal information, or you need to access, correct, or delete other personal information generated during your use of Argzz products or services, or you believe Argzz violates laws and regulations or agreements regarding personal information collection or use, you may contact Argzz via email: indiedev.6076@gmail.com.

VI. Protection of Minors’ Information

  1. Argzz attaches great importance to the protection of minors’ personal information. If you are a minor under the age of 18, you should obtain the consent of your parent or legal guardian (collectively, the “Guardian”) before submitting personal information.
  2. Argzz encourages guardians to guide minors in using Argzz products and services, and suggests that minors encourage their guardians to read this Policy.
  3. Guardians should bear the primary responsibility for protecting minors’ privacy rights in the online environment.
  4. Argzz will protect minors’ information in accordance with relevant national laws and regulations.

VII. Disclaimer

In addition to the disclaimer items listed in this Policy, Argzz shall not be liable in the following circumstances:

  1. Any leakage, loss, theft, or tampering of personal data caused by you disclosing your password to others, sharing your registered account with others, or other improper custody by you;
  2. Any leakage, loss, theft, or tampering of personal data due to force majeure events such as hacker attacks, computer virus intrusion or outbreaks, or temporary shutdown caused by government control that affects normal network operations;
  3. Any leakage of personal information caused by other websites linked to Argzz and any legal disputes and consequences arising therefrom;
  4. Other non-Argzz causes of leakage of personal information and any legal disputes and consequences arising therefrom.

VIII. Scope of This Policy

  1. All Argzz products and services are subject to this Policy.
  2. This Policy applies only to information collected by Argzz and does not apply to products and services provided by any third party or the third party’s rules for using information. Argzz assumes no responsibility for any third party’s use of information you provide.

  4. “Affiliate” in this Policy refers to an enterprise that now or in the future has a relationship of direct or indirect control, joint control, or significant influence between parties, or that is under common control, joint control, or significant influence.

IX. Revisions to This Policy

Argzz may revise the terms of this Policy from time to time and will publish the revised Policy in a timely manner. If you continue to use Argzz products and services, you agree to be bound by the revised Privacy Policy.
